1. Data Controller

LA FAMILIA CAFE S.A.S (NIT 901.523.761-1), Carrera 112 # 44-21, Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. Contact: Info@lafamiliacafe.co · +57 324 212 4770. This policy governs the Cupscore cupping application. It is issued under Ley 1581 of 2012 and Decreto 1074 of 2015 of Colombia.

2. Data we collect

• Account: your email, name and password (the password is stored only as a secure hash — we never see it).
• Cupping data you create: scores, descriptors, notes, sample information and the reports you generate.
• Group sessions: if you host or join a panel, the display name you enter and your evaluations for that session.
• Technical: a login token and app state saved in your browser (localStorage), plus standard server logs (IP address, timestamp) kept for security.

3. Purposes

To operate the calculator; to save your cuppings and let you resume them; to run group panels; to authenticate your account; and for security and abuse prevention. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Legal basis

Your prior, express and informed consent, given when you create an account by accepting this policy and the Terms.

5. Cookies & local storage

Cupscore uses only strictly necessary browser storage (your login token and session state). It does not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies, so no cookie banner is required inside the app.

6. Sharing & processors

We do not sell your data. We rely on reputable infrastructure providers (hosting) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality. Data may be processed on servers located outside Colombia, always with appropriate safeguards.

7. Group panels

A host who invites participants is responsible for informing them that the name and evaluations they enter are recorded for that cupping session.

8. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You may ask us to delete your account and data at any time; we then erase your personal data, except where the law requires us to keep it.

9. Your rights

Under Ley 1581/2012 you may access, rectify, update and delete your data, and revoke your consent, by writing to Info@lafamiliacafe.co. We respond within the legal terms (consultations 10 business days; claims 15 business days, extendable).

10. Minors

The service is intended for professional, adult use and is not directed to children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top reflects the latest version. Colombian law applies and the Spanish version prevails.
